Jake Goris first realized his love for acting at Horizon Youth Theatre at BGSU under Dr. F. Scott Regan. His first play was House at Pooh Corner in which he played Late Rabbit. Eventually Jake started taking classes at SB Entertainment Group who took him to IMTA in 2007. He was signed that September and moved to NYC and has been auditioning ever since. In New York City he takes acting classes at Actors Technique NY. The first job Jake landed was a pilot for Animation Collective’s Manhattan Monsters. This pilot was not picked up but it was a great learning experience for him. Jake has been in print ads for Macy’s and Microsoft and has recorded numerous radio voiceovers, including Olive Garden. Last year Jake performed in Times Square with Turtleshell Theatre’s Playwright’s Festival 8 Minute Madness. He also filmed a web video called TV Love Song for collegehumor. He filmed a national commercial for Hasbro Nab-It and has been an extra on Law and Order, Special Victims Unit, and One Life to Live. Jake was part of a skit on The Late Show with David Letterman. Most recently he filmed an episode of ABC News Primetime: What Would You Do?
